Philosophy can be useful to so many people! Explore various jobs and activities that are made better by asking big questions. Get to know members of the community through the big ideas they use.

Learning Objectives:

  • (Social Studies) Explore the roles and contributions of various community members.

  • (Literacy) Write effective questions using appropriate vocabulary.

  • (Literacy) Reflect critically using appropriate conventions of written language.

  • (Visual Art) Create a visual representation of an idea.

  • (Social-Emotional Learning) Use critical thinking skills as a means to understand and improve one’s daily life.

Materials/Preparation:

  • Print outs of questions and professions (see blackline master), sticky tape
