Lesson Plan: Planning To Be Good

Great Thinker’s Challenge:

Identify and describe what becoming a better person is about. Explore and think critically about the way people interact in their daily lives, and how acts of “goodness” can make you or others feel. Create a “Gallery of Goodness” to present your findings.

Learning Objectives:

  • (Literacy) Recall relevant information, take notes, and categorize information.

  • (Social-Emotional Learning) Identify different ways to be a good person, as well as how small personal actions affect others.

  • (Mathematics) Track data using tally marks, stamps, or pictures.
